Candor Medical Pty Ltd (ACN 654 827 808) is collecting your personal and health information through registration and delivery of our services, for the purpose of providing telehealth consultations to you through our telehealth platform (Platform).  

If you do not provide your personal information, we are unable to provide our services to you. We otherwise use, disclose and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Medical Scribe

We may use a medical AI scribe in the provision of our services to:

  • Assist in the triage and classification of symptom descriptions provided by patients through our platform; and
  • Generate and assist in the preparation of consultation notes and medical documentation.

To ensure our patients privacy, we undertake the following measures:

  • Data that is shared with medical AI scribes is de-identified — no names, contact details, or identifiable metadata are shared;
  • AI medical scribes do not make medical decisions, diagnoses, or prescribe treatments;  
  • All clinical care is provided by a real-time, AHPRA-registered practitioners; and
  • AI-generated content is always subject to review and approval before being relied upon.

You have the right to opt out of the use of a medical AI scribe. If you choose to opt out, please inform your healthcare practitioner at the beginning of your consultation.

Cookies, pixels and website analytics

We may use cookies, tracking pixels and similar technologies on our website or Platform from time to time.  A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your internet browser and registers you as a user. Tracking pixels are tiny, invisible images (typically the size of one pixel) embedded in web pages or emails. Cookies and tracking pixels, by themselves, do not tell us your email address or other personally identifiable information. However, they do recognise you when you return to our online website or Platform and how you use our online website or Platform.

If and when you choose to provide our website or Platform with personal information, this information may be linked to the data stored in cookies or collected by tracking pixels.

Our Privacy Policy also contains information regarding how to opt-out of marketing communications from us, the contact details of our Privacy Officer and how you can seek access to and correct your personal information or raise a privacy concern with us.
